Yamaha F20 Guitar Amplifier Great Sound and Price for Entry-Level Guitar Player
Quality and advances in guitar amplifier technology have made Yamaha the choice of professional and beginning performers for years. With the debut of the F20 Guitar Amplifier Bass Amplifier at Summer NAMM 2001, Yamaha Corporation of America, Guitar Products, fills the need for durable, high-quality amplifiers for the beginning guitar player.
Recalling a retro look and style of the legendary Yamaha F Series, these amps offer clean sound and simple, compact designs. Each model features a 20-watt amplifier and 10-in. speaker, designed to provide the best possible tone and plenty of power for practicing or jamming. The F20 will be available in September.
"Yamaha has always prided itself on the quality and popularity of its entry-level guitar and bass products," states David Bergstrom, director of marketing, Combo Group, Pro Audio & Combo Division. "New entries like the F20 demonstrate Yamaha’s dedication to players of all levels."
Both the F20 feature a distortion/clean switch and a line in—great for plugging in a CD player and playing along with your favorite licks. Roadworthy construction makes the F20 ideal for transporting to practice sessions and gigs.
"The F20 is designed for beginning guitar and bass players who want the best sound their money can buy," adds Gary Cook, Guitar product manager.
