Ok. . . . Everybody needs to stop. You can say that you can sing and that it is ur dream and all of that bullcrap. . . Great! Well DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Getting on here and saying "ya I like to sing so call me if you can help" is NOT gonna cut it. I have a dream to sing too. . . Just like the other MILLIONS of people. The few ones who are gonna make it are going to get off their butts and take some action. Go perform out, make yourself heard. Wrtiting to this message board will do you no good. So my advice to you -- get a plan together - find some open mics, karaoke nights, talent shows, ect. Thats where it all starts. Get some vocal lessons, and if you are really serious, consider studio time to record a demo. It's hard work people. . . But if you are as serious as you say you are, then you''ll work for it |

I'm not trying to put anyone down. I know you can all do it somehow. But still. Listen up, Emmy is right! Why is everyone expecting everything to be handed to them. If you go to Youtube, you will see that Esmee Denters, a GREAT SINGER, didn't sit on her butt trying to get it right. She pulled out a webcam and signed to see record labels. She got discovered on Youtube. . . as a lot of others have. So don't sit there and say "I need help". B/c that is selfish. . . I sound mean, and I know a lot of you don't like me, but if you reach for your goal by stand up and taking 10 steps forward instead of sitting there and reaching 2 steps forward, you will get there. But don't take tips from other people. Say someone is going to a certain record company and telling you their plans, what if you take that from them? That's not right. So get it yourself. Stop taking and start giving to yourself, the proper way |

Hi Becky, my name is Katie and me and my group of friends just formed a singing group called the HISSY FITS nobody has noticed us yet. . . . . . I am the lead singer of our group and I also do all the hard work, like writing songs, making music, practicing on how to get recorded!!! 3. Go to a recording studio for ur birthday and make a cd and send it to a recording agency.

I agree if they think you've got talents and you would make it as a top singer and work hard then they would definatly consider you. If you are making it up that you are a brilliant singer and you send them a demo so think carefully, if you think you've got it then go for it, otherwise your just gonna fall flat on your face. |

if ur shy why dont you just try and join a band or group then you wont have to sing on your own if you dont want to but it wil buil your confidence. if you have a great voice and you are ment to be a singer just belive in yourself and you will get threw it. there is nothing to be embarrissed about if you have a voice so just swollow your fear and get onto that stage. if your serious about singing for a carier then wen youve overcome your shyness enter loads of talent shows and gigs. there might just be someone in the audience looking for you. good luck from your helping hand! |

I did a year of vocal lesson when I really didnt need
Them because im good at singing. but helped sharpen my vocie.
I also did a year of hip-hop dancing so I kno how to dance and I can caught on to it quick. im very pretty by the way. but the only probelm I pay have is travelin beacuse I live in michigan. but im very devoted to singing. Hey Guys and Gals of Course lol,
I live in Scotland and me and my best friend called Ashley started duo singing in 1st year and were now in 3rd year. We starred in many festivals and have had 3 gigs. We also done a tour around europe(england, our school lol, spain, france, Lithuania near Russia, and Italy. ) A few weeks ago we recorded a cd and sent it to an agent in London who took £25 to recieve it etc, and sent us an email saying that she has recieved it and will listen to it, this is also the agent that bobbi Houston(Whitneys Daughter) uses. So try her. Her name is Ruth Carren I think. My advice is to try your best and start off small with festivals and never give up.

For becomin a singer an successful, you need to create some videos of your singing which you will be able to show others as proof. Upload these videos to the video sharing sites. Use the video sharing site - "thinkgottalent" which has a singing category. It will help you in getting exposure and contact |
