These range codes are INCORRECT!!! C4 is middle C. No soprano could EVER sing a C3!! A lyric soprano range is Bflat3 to C5 (depending on age of singer-older can go lower. A mezzo soparano is Gflat3 to A5

C3 is middle C (in between the bass and treble clefs). A4 is the A which is placed on the first ledger line above the treble clef (it looks the same as an upside down middle C).
Hope theat helps!

C3 is the C below middle C. Middle C (C4) is the note with the frequency of 256 Hz and C3 is the note of 128 Hz. A4 is the A just above middle C, with a frequency of 440 Hz.

C3 is an extremely low note for a soprano and A4 is in the lower end of the average soprano register. Someone's made a mistake. It should be C4 - A5. C3 - A4 is more like a tenor range.

C3 is impossible for sopranos to sing. C3 is C below middle C. C4 they can probably reach (middle C). And they sing MUCH higher than A4! I'd say C4-E6 or something like that. Some sopranos can reach high F.

C3 is the C below middle C (C4) and A4 is the A above middle C. This is a bit limited for a soprano voice range.
I'd say C4 to C6 or something. Some sopranos can go even higher so C6 is comfortable and solid

. . . I am a soprano and I can sing a C3. I am very capable of singing alto. . but I can sing up to a Bb6, so I am a natural coloratura soprano. Dont say that it's IMPOSSIBLE for someone to sing ANYTHING. There are always people that will suprise you.

Anyhow, Chucha. .
A typical soprano range is c4, or middle c (the note in between the treble staff and the bass staff, to either a high a (a5), the 1st ledger line above the staff (for choral sopranos) or for opera/solo singing to soprano c, (c6), or the second ledger line above the staff. This is a typical range, and some sopranos are able to sing well above or below the typical range, and some choral/opera music calls for notes that lie outside of the typical range.

Hope that helped :)
