The V-drums TD8 Percussion Sound Module offers everything the world-renowned V-drums have become famous for — hundreds of amazing drum, percussion, and instrument sounds, COSM modeling-based drum editing capabilities, intuitive operation, and unmatched sensitivity, to name just a few. Yet this new V-drums sound module comes in a more compact package at a very musician-friendly price making it the easiest way to tap into the awesome power of the V-drums. TD8 VDrum Sound Module Features V-drums sound module featuring 1,286 drum and instrument sounds, 64 distinct drum kits. V-Edit mode offers modeling-based control over "virtual" drum shell depth, tuning, head type, and muffling and snare strainer adjustment. Intuitive user interface with large backlit LCD and faders for instant group volume adjustment. Luminous "drummer-friendly" rubber buttons. Onboard Ambience and EQ processing. Built-in sequencer with 800 patterns and GM-compatible sound source. Compatible with PD120/100/80/80R/9/7/5 pads, KD120/80/7 kick triggers, FD7 Hi-Hat Controller, and SPD20 Total Percussion Pad. The TD8 Percussion Sound Module was designed from the ground up with live performance and easy operation in mind. For this reason, it incorporates a large backlit LCD with a wealth of helpful operational graphics and icons, luminous rubber buttons, and an angled module design that makes operations fast. Like the flagship TD10 module, the new TD8 allows drummers to "see" COSM Variable Drum Modeling in action, selecting drum composition, tuning and re-sizing the drum icons as drummers customize their individual drum sounds, adding ambience and EQΦall of the major editing features are here. The TD8 also allows for the connection of up to 12 drum pads, with instant group volume adjustment possible via onboard faders. When it comes down to it, an electronic percussion system is only as good as its sounds. For this reason, the TD8 includes 1,286 high-quality sounds, comprised of 1,024 drum and percussion sounds and 262 backing instruments. Powerful COSM modeling-based V-Editing allows drummers to precisely tune and shape individual drum size and depth, head type and tuning, muffling, and even snare strainer adjustment. This sound customization is enhanced by the TD8's high-quality Ambience effects and EQ, as well as expressive positional sensing capabilityΦwhich triggers different sounds and timbres based on the location of pad hit.
